From 1990 to 2014, the former Vulcan Catalytic Systems Ltd. designed, manufactured, and marketed high quality industrial Gas Catalytic IR and Powder Coating Ovens. Systems have been installed worldwide and are used for many applications including, paint and powder curing, leather curing, food drying and thermoforming. In June 2014, Vulcan Catalytic Systems Ltd was acquired by Heraeus Noblelight LLC.
The new Gas Catalytic IR division of Heraeus Noblelight is located on Aquidneck Island in the Portsmouth Business Park in Portsmouth. There is also a facility in the UK , formerly known as Vulcan Catalytic Systems UK LLP. Vulcan Catalytic Systems Ltd. was well known as a world class leader in the development of infrared curing technology for different coatings and substrates. Now under the ownership of Heraeus Noblelight, development of our gas catalytic infrared heaters, powder coating ovens, systems and controls for the process heating industry will proceed as before. Additionally, the pioneering work carried out in developing oven curing systems for MDF powder coating will continue.
